Lately, I've been busy with commissions and haven't worked on as many personal pieces, but each one has been a delight to create. What I really love about commissions is that it is more than a narrative or beautiful painting, it is so personal to the person who requests it: full of meaning and love. This is something I strive to capture as I work on them; the personalities and likenesses of the subjects, as well as the love of the person requesting the piece.
