About the Artist
b. 1999
My journey began at 13.
With no college or atelier education,
Now I'm living my dream as a full-time artist.
Primarily working in charcoal and oils, I am most inspired to capture people's portraits and figures, however I love to explore personality and narrative in still life, and always feel inspired to paint new places when I travel.
My art can be described as representational impressionism.
The combination of abstract and delicately rendered techniques in artwork is a dynamic I am constantly learning and practicing.
From my earliest memories I've always loved to draw, and I can remember seeing prints hung in my home and wondering how someone could paint transparent fabric or capture a person's likeness.
At 13, I began pursuing a career in art through entering local art shows and competitions, including the National Scholastic Art and Writing Competition, and taking commissions from family and friends.
Since then, I have pursued my art education independently, studying books, videos, and articles, as well as attending workshops with artists such as Robert Liberace, Sherrie McGraw, Michelle Dunaway, Alicia Ponzio, and Tina Garrett.
It has always been my ultimate purpose to glorify God with my life. This is my art's purpose as well. Each piece that I paint or draw, I seek to share a story. Whether it is through a narrative piece or commissioned portrait, I want people to see my art and to feel joy, hope, and wonder.

Committed to
Excellence
From creating original artwork to teaching workshops, one of my foundational principles is a commitment to excellence in technique and feeling.
I believe this is what can distinguish truly fine art no matter the style or subject; an understanding of how to capture forml, light, movement, and emotion with accuracy to any degree of detail.
The Pursuit
of beauty
Sensitivity of feeling and soft, romantic narratives have always held the most inspiration and delight for me in art.
Especially considering collectors bringing my art into their homes to be a part of their everyday lives, I hope to inspire serenity and pleasant memories through my paintings.
Although there is certainly a place for more confrontational pieces, I have always followed what inspires me, and this is often scenes of quiet joy and peace.
