As a celebration of my collaboration with Donald McCluskey for 'The Messiah' book, September 19th my family and I hosted an art show at our home displaying 25 of the original illustrations. Don came all the way from Texas with his wife, Jill and generously brought copies of the book to give to people, signing copies for them.
Friends, neighbors, collectors, and artists gathered in our private back yard for refreshments and conversation. In addition to displaying 'The Messiah' artwork, I gave people tours of my new studio and offered a Small Works Sale. Several pieces sold to past collectors and new collectors!
The evening was delightful. My whole family worked together to help everything look beautiful and go smoothly, the weather was lovely, and everyone who came was so kind and supportive.
